How to configure PosteMobile on router
Possiedi a portable router and would you like to configure PosteMobile on the latter, in order to use the connection offered by the operator on all devices that connect to the generated wireless network? Unfortunately I cannot be particularly detailed, as the procedure to be undertaken varies according to the brand and model of the router, but in general this operation is possible by accessing the settings of the device and locating the entry for the configuration of the APN, which you can find in the section Mobile data o Data connection.
Next, you need to create a new APN and fill in i fields that are shown to you. In this regard, I suggest you follow the same instructions I gave you in the chapter on configuring the Internet with PosteMobile on Android terminals and iOS / iPadOS.
For more details on the operation and configuration of devices of this type, you can consult my buying guide and my tutorial on how portable Wi-Fi works.
In case of dubbi or problem
Have you followed my instructions in detail but have not yet managed to configure PosteMobile? In that case, I recommend that you get in touch with the customer care of the operator, calling the 160, which is the numbering used for this purpose. Keep in mind that technical assistance is only available from 07.00 to 24.00 and that the call is free from the PosteMobile line or TIM fixed network.
Alternatively, you can get in touch with PosteMobile through one of its social channels, as indicated below.
- To contact PosteMobile via Facebook, connected to this page, log in to your profile on the social network and send a message to the account through which you briefly describe the problem, then type your name and your PosteMobile phone number and send the text. Within a few minutes you should receive an answer from the operator and you should resolve the matter.
- To contact PosteMobile via Twitter, log in to your account and send a tweet to @PosteMobile on Twitter, mentioning it in the message and asking for assistance. However, do not enter your phone number or other sensitive data in the message, as it is public content. Enter them only if and when you are invited to continue the conversation privately, via DM.
Alternatively, you can connect to the PosteMobile website e chat with an operator, by clicking on the item Client service via chat present at the bottom right, then on the button Request Assistance, by your complaint Start a chat now and using the appropriate form. You can also report your problem via the PosteMobile app for Android (also available on alternative stores) and iOS / iPadOS.
You could also consult the Web page on the PosteMobile website with the main ones FAQ's. For more details about the various contact systems, you can consult my specific guide on how to talk to a post office operator.
If you can't solve it even by contacting a PosteMobile operator, try to request the SIM replacement or try insert the SIM of another operator in your smartphone (or tablet) and see if the problem persists. If you continue to have difficulties with the SIM (and APNs) of another telephone company, I'm sorry but there could be something wrong with the hardware and that is preventing you from connecting to the Internet on your device.
To dispel any doubts regarding software configuration issues, you may want to try reset your device by following my tutorials on how to reset Android and how to reset iPhone, but it is a really "extreme" move, so think carefully before putting it into practice.
