Prima di enter the live of this tutorial and spiegarti how to register a Samsung product, you may find it useful to know what are the advantages of registering a new product from the famous Korean company.
Accessing Samsung Members, the platform dedicated to the registration of Samsung products, with your own account and by adding a new product, you can get direct assistance in case of problems with previously added products. In addition to requesting immediate support by phone, chat and email, in case of need you can find the nearest Samsung service center and make a booking online.
Furthermore, on Samsung Members it is possible to stay updated on the latest news regarding Samsung products of interest to you and, above all, to take advantage of exclusive services and dedicated promotions.
That said, all you need to register a Samsung product, in the case of smartphones and tablets, is the IMEI code: the latter is shown on the label positioned on the back of the smartphone / tablet and on the label visible in the original product packaging. Alternatively, you can also retrieve the code in question from your device settings. In that case, my guide on how to trace the IMEI code may be useful.
If, on the other hand, you have purchased another Samsung product, its is required Serial Code which is indicated on the product itself.
- Refrigerator: the serial code is indicated on the label positioned at the bottom on the external left wall of the product or inside the refrigerator compartment on the left wall.
- Washing machines and dryers: The serial number is visible on the label located behind the door and on the back of the washer / dryer.
- Television: the serial code is visible on the label applied on the back of the device.
- Galaxy Watch: The serial number is indicated on the label applied on the original packaging of the smartwatch.
- Blu Ray and Home theater: the serial code is visible on the back of the device.
In addition to your device's IMEI number or serial number, to register a Samsung product, you also need to know the date of purchase of the latter, usually reported on the receipt or invoice.
How to register a new Samsung product
Register a new Samsung product it's a quick and easy procedure. All you have to do is log into the platform Samsung Members with your account, choose the option to register a new device and enter all the required data. How to do? I'll explain it to you right away!
From computer
To register a Samsung product from computer, connected to the official site of Samsung Members, click on the button Log in, top right, and choose the option Log in. On the newly opened page, enter the data associated with your Samsung account in the fields Email e Password and click on the button Log in, to login.
Alternatively, you can also log in with your Facebook account or with your Twitter account, by pressing the buttons related to Facebook and Twitter. If, on the other hand, you don't have an account yet, on the Log into Samsung Membersclick on your button Subscribe, to create one.
On the newly opened page, mark the options next to the options I accept the terms and conditions e I accept the special terms and press pulsating Accept. Then enter your data in the fields Email, Password, Your name e Last name, specify your date of birth via the drop-down menus Day, Month e Year, put the check mark next to the item I'm not a robot, to verify your identity, and click on your button NEXT.
Now, log into your inbox, locate the email sent by Samsung and click the button Verify account, to activate your account and complete the registration. Then press the button Log in, enter the data associated with the account you just created in the fields Email e Password and click on the button Log in, to login.
On the Samsung Members main screen, locate the section Your Samsung products and dedicated services, tap on the item Add a product and, on the page Add your product, enter the required data of the Samsung device in your possession in the required fields Enter IMEI or serial e Purchase date.
If you wish, you can also upload a photo of the IMEI or serial number and receipt (or invoice) by clicking on the button + related to items Take a photo or upload IMEI / Serial e Enter proof of purchase. In the latter case, the product purchased and the date of purchase must be clearly visible.
After entering all the mandatory data and additional information you want, click on the button Confirm product, to register your new Samsung product and enjoy the benefits of Samsung Members.
Give smartphone and tablet
If you are wondering if it is possible register a Samsung product from smartphones and tablets, not only the answer is affirmative but you will also be happy to know that, if you have purchased a smartphone from the Korean company, it will be registered automatically.
To check this, grab your smartphone and launch the app Samsung Members which should be installed "by default" on your device. If not, you can download it for free from the Play Store. After launching the app in question (you will automatically be logged in with the Samsung account associated with your phone), tap on the option Quick visible in the menu located at the bottom, to view the Samsung devices associated with your account, including the device in use.
Also, by pressing the button Add and following the instructions shown on the screen, you can add a new Samsung product. Unfortunately, at the time of writing this guide, from the Samsung Members app it is not possible to register more than one product of the Korean company and, for this reason, I advise you to proceed from a browser (procedure also valid from a smartphone or tablet of another brand) for the registration of further products.
To proceed, start the browser installed on your device (eg. Chrome your android or Safari on iOS) and connected to the main page of Samsung Members, then tap the ☰ button, at the top right, and choose the option Log in.

In the latter case, put the required check marks next to the options I accept the terms and conditions e I accept the special terms e fai tap sul pulsating Accept, then enter your details in the fields Email, Password, Your name e Last name and specify your date of birth in the fields Day, Month e Year.
Now, put the check mark next to the option I'm not a robot and press pulsating NEXT, to receive a verification email from Samsung. Then access your inbox, open the email sent by Samsung and tap the button Verify account contained within it, to activate your account.
To do this, log into Samsung Members and, on the main screen of your account, tap on the option Add a product. Then enter the required data in the fields Enter IMEI or serial e Purchase date and, if you wish, press the button + related to items Take a photo or upload IMEI / Serials e Enter proof of purchase, to upload a photo of the IMEI code or the serial code of your product and the purchase receipt.
Finally, tap the button Confirm product, to add the product in question to your account, and that's it.
In case of problems
If you have followed, in detail, the instructions I have given you in the previous paragraphs but, despite this, you have not been able to register a new product on Samsung Members, you can request support from a real operator.
To proceed, connected to the official site of Samsung Members, click on the item Log in, at the top right, and click on the button Log in. Then enter your account details in the fields Email e Password and press pulsating Log in, to login.
Now, click on the entry Quick located in the top menu and, in the new page open, select the tab Social care. Then press the icon of speech bubble visible nel box Live chat, to start a conversation with a Samsung Members operator. It will be useful to know that the chat service is available every day from 09.00 to 19.00.
