Create Facebook profile
If you are looking forward to know how to create a Facebook profile, the first thing you need to know is that doing it is completely free and that you can succeed not only from smartphones and tablets, but also from computer">computer">computer">computers. In this regard, in the following lines, I tell you what are the steps to be taken on all platforms.
Smartphones and tablets
If your intent is to create a Facebook profile from smartphone or tablet, know that you can easily do it through the app of this famous social network downloadable for free on Android and iOS, respectively from Play Store or from ourApp Store. In this regard, if you don't know how to proceed, refer to my guide where I explain how to download and install Facebook.
After downloading the Facebook on your smartphone or tablet, start it by pressing on its icon located on the home screen or in the drawer, in order to follow, step by step, the registration procedure that I am about to show you.
With the application started, then presses on the voice Join Facebook that you find in the center (registering is completely free, don't worry), then tap on Start and register, indicating as and when, in the text fields that are shown to you, all the personal data requested: name, surname, date of birth e sex.
Once this is done, choose if you want to create a profile Facebook by registering on the social network using your mobile number (in this case, type it in the text field Enter your mobile number that is shown to you) or if you want to register with an email address (to do so, press the item Use your email address and type the latter in the text field on the screen).
Pigia poi sul pulsating Confirm your account and verify your identity by entering the code of confirmation that will have been sent to you by Facebook at the email address you indicated, or via SMS to the phone number you have chosen to use for registration.
If you have correctly carried out the identity verification procedure you have, in this way, completed the procedure relating to the creation of your Facebook profile. You can then edit it by tapping onlittle man icon which will then be replaced by the thumbnail of your profile picture.
At this point, after modifying your profile, via the button Edit the profile, you can start using your account in all its features, adding, for example, friends, posting photos and videos and interacting with the content posted by other users.

The app of Facebook for Windows 10 does not allow you to register to the social network, as the button Join Facebook present in it refers to the website.
To do this, therefore, use a browser to browse the Internet (for example Google Chrome) and connect to the Facebook home page, in order to create an account. Don't worry: even in this case, signing up for Facebook is free and very easy too. You just have to provide all the requested data, following the procedure I am about to show you.
Once the home page of Facebook, therefore, use the text fields Name, Surname, Mobile number or email address e new password, to provide this information. Then indicate yours date of birth and yours sex, using the appropriate drop-down menu and the relative text box.
Fatto ciò, first prize SUBSCRIBE which you can find below, then carry out the identity verification procedure by pressing the button Confirm your account that you can see in the email received from Facebook. If, on the other hand, you have decided to register via the cellphone number, you will be prompted to enter the confirmation code received via SMS to the number you provided.
Did you successfully complete this operation? Fantastic! You have thus completed the registration of your Facebook profile. Now, to access it, press thelittle man icon at the top right and refer to the instructions provided by the social network, to modify your profile and enter all the information that represents you, thus helping other people to recognize you.

If you are wondering how create a company Facebook profile, you must know that companies that want to register with Facebook do not have to create a profile, but one Facebook page ., so that they can use the social network tools suitable for different business models.
It is very important, in fact, to understand the difference between a Facebook page and a profile, as the profile is the personal account created by a person who wants to share his thoughts and moods. The Facebook profile should not be used for commercial purposes, contrary to what is instead possible to do through the use of a page. The latter also allows you to obtain an analysis tool for your audience (Facebook Insight). Furthermore, Facebook pages can make use of the advertising platform Facebook Ads which allows you to promote published content for a fee, to reach a wider audience.
Having said that, in the following lines, I will illustrate you in detail how to create a Facebook page from smartphones and tablets, through the application of Facebook for Android and iOS, and from a computer">computer">computer">computer, through the official website of the social network.
Smartphones and tablets
create a Facebook page from smartphones and tablets, you have to act through the app Facebook for Android and iOS, as long as you have previously registered with the social network.
To carry out the operation in question, therefore start the app Facebook on your device and log in, if you do not log in automatically. Now, press the button (☰), then tap on the menu item first Pages and finally, su Create a page.
Adesso, premium pulsating Start, type il name that you want to assign to your page in the text field that is shown to you and presses the button NEXT. Now, select the category of the page you want to create using the drop-down menus Choose a category e Choose a sub-category (for example Brands and products > Cars) and then continue by pressing the button NEXT.
At this point, type the address of the website associated with the page, if it exists (if not, tap the button Salta to skip this step), then add a profile picture it's a'cover image, using the appropriate buttons that are shown to you.
Finally, hit the button Visit the page to be redirected to the main screen of the Facebook page you just created, so that you can edit it by following the Facebook instructions shown on the screen Tips for your page.
After creating the Facebook page, you can start using it in all its features, including the publication of content, aimed at increasing the "likes". In this regard, if you have any doubts about the correct use of the same, refer to the tutorials I wrote related to its operation.

If you intend to create a Facebook page from your computer">computer">computer">computer, to do so you must first register with Mark Zuckerberg's social network and, consequently, log in to your profile.
After carrying out these operations, press on the item Pages which is located in the left side menu and then click on the item Create a page which you can find in the upper right corner.
Now, choose by clicking on the button Start, if you create a page for acompany o a brand, or if the page you want to create is related to a community or yet public figure. Once this is done, fill in the text fields that are proposed to you by typing the name of the page and choosing the category and subcategory which represents it (For example IT company).
To continue, click on the button Continue and by clicking on the button Upload an image of the profile, to reach a photo that represents the page you are creating. Repeat the same operation for adding a 'cover image or press on Salta, if you want to skip these steps and carry them out later.
Once the page has been created, you can customize it and use it for publishing content, in order to reach the audience of your interest and gain new followers. Create a private Facebook profile
You are a very private person and a particularly privacy-loving person, so you ask yourself how to create a private Facebook profile? If so, you can easily do this by adjusting your Facebook account options from your smartphone, tablet or computer">computer">computer">computer. I indicate the steps to be taken in the following lines.
Smartphones and tablets
To adjust the Facebook privacy options related to your profile through the social network application for Android and iOS, log in to your account and press the (☰) button. Now, join the path Settings and Privacy> Settings> Privacy Settings and refer to the sections Your activities e How people find and contact, to adjust your desired privacy options.
For example, tap the voice Who can see your future posts, to make sure that these are visible only to friends. You can also limit who can see the old posts, to choose who can see people, pages and the lists you follow and indicate who can sent friend requests, who can see your friends list, who can search for you using the email address or phone number you provided.
By tapping on the options described above, you can then select the options All (i.e. anyone on Facebook and outside Facebook), Friends of friends, Friends (your Facebook friends only) and, in some cases, Only me (only you).
Other sections useful for making a Facebook profile private, which have a similar operation to what has just been explained, are those called Journal and tagging (through which you can decide who can interact with you with your posts) e Public posts (used to decide who can follow you and comment on your public posts).

If you intend to test your Facebook profile by acting as a computer">computer">computer">computer, you will be happy to know that, to do so, you can connect to the Web version of the social network or act through the " Facebook via Windows 10.
In the first case, to access the sections named Privacy, Journal and tagging, then log in to your account and press on yours profile picture. Now, click on the icon (...) located next to your cover image, and click on the item Journal settings. If you are using the Facebook for Windows 10, on the other hand, this section is visible by first pressing the ▼ icon and then the menu item Settings.
Through the section Privacy you can adjust all the options related to your profile (Who can see your future posts and Who can send you friend requests), while clicking on the item Journal and tagging you can customize the privacy related to your Facebook diary and the tags published in it.
In case of doubts or problems, refer to the indications provided in the previous chapter, as the privacy customization options are the same that you can find in the Facebook app for Android and iOS.
