The macOS Photos application is present inside the Launchpad and contains all the photos on your computer and those synchronized with other iCloud devices, if any.

Starting to talk about the applications that I recommend you use on iOS mobile devices, I would like to point out the presence of Clips.
You may never have heard of it, but it is an application developed by Apple designed for making videos with photos and music in a very unique way. It is no coincidence that this application winks at the tools integrated in other more famous applications: Instagram, Snapchat or Musical.ly, for example.
The application is designed for a young audience also from the moment in which it presents an atypical user interface that is intuitive only if you know well how the most recent and modern social networks work.
However, it is an excellent application from a technical point of view: there are several tools for editing a video with photos and music. So if you are a particularly creative person and want to try an original video editing application, then I recommend that you download it to your iOS device.
Alternatively, still talking about the possibilities offered exclusively by Apple devices, you can also turn to the traditional video editing application iMovie.
In the latter case, as you can surely imagine, it is the counterpart for smartphones and tablets of the well-known software for macOS that I told you about in the previous lines.
Magisto (Android / iOS)
Available for free on Android and iOS devices, Magisto is an excellent application that will allow you to edit a video with photos and music.
The application can be used after registering with an account Facebook, Google or through any other email address and allows you to create a montage of a video starting from some predefined themes.
However, it must be said that, in its version free, there are some limitations including the inability to use more than 10 photos for making the video. Furthermore, the exported video must necessarily be of short duration.
It must also be taken into consideration that the video can only be exported online; to be able to save it in the memory of your device you will be required to pay a subscription.
Payment of the subscription to the service Premium of Magisto is also required to remove the other limitations of the version free. Keep in mind that, to evaluate the characteristics of this application, it is possible to activate one free trial version.
WeVideo (Android / iOS)
Another application to consider for editing a video with photos and music is WeVideo. This app is also present on both mobile devices and you can then download it for free on Android and iOS.
You can use this app to edit a video with photos and music without recording, but you will have to keep in mind that there are some limitations given by using this application in a free. WeVideo applies a watermark to the exported video, which will also be created at low resolution.
To use additional features, a monthly or annual subscription must be paid with prices that differ according to the additional features included. However, it must be taken into account that the more expensive plan also offers support for exporting a movie in 4K Ultra HD quality.
The user interface of this application is only available in English language, however, its editing tools are traditional, so you shouldn't have any difficulty using it.
The videos made are exportable and shareable online directly through the app and automatically saved in the device memory.

Magisto

Unlike the app which is downloadable for free, Magisto requires payment of a subscription to be used online. However it is possible to activate one free trial version to be able to start using its features without having to pay.
I therefore recommend that you connect to its official website and press the button Get Started. After that you will need to create an account free by registering for the service and click on the entry Start the trial corresponding to one of the subscription plans.
Once this is done, you can start using the Magisto editor by uploading the images you want to use to edit your video with photos and music.
Similar to other tools and applications, through this website you will be able to create a customized video based on selectable themes and styles.
Using the free trial version, however, you will not be able to download the video to your computer but only share online.
WeVideo
Having to make a choice on what are the best tools on the Web to edit a video with photos and music, I cannot avoid talking about WeVideo.
It is an online service for the video editor that works similar to the application of the same name for Android and iOS. If even in this case the name seems familiar to you, it is precisely because I told you about it in the previous lines.
Usable through any browser for Internet browsing, WeVideo is a tool that works after registering an account.
Then go to its official website and click on the button Facebook or on the button Google to register quickly. Alternatively, you can also create an account by indicating an alternative email address and filling in all the data required by the service.
Following registration, you will be offered the purchase of a subscription plan; however, please note that payment is not mandatory. Then click the button Try it if you want to use all tools in a manner free with the trial version.
It is clearly implied that additional features will be unlocked if you subscribe. In its version free, the service allows you to export movies at a maximum resolution of 480p and there will be a limitation given by a maximum of five minutes of video exportable per month.
In any case, the strength of this Web tool is the possibility of importing multimedia elements even from the main social networks or cloud storage services, as well as from your computer. The tools for editing video with photos and music are varied and there are also some predefined themes that allow you to edit a video in no time.
