How to record on FL Studio
If you are ready to begin, I would say to ban the chatter and to see, together, how to record on FL Studio 20 (which, at the time of this writing, is the most recent version of the program). In any case, the indications you will find in the next paragraphs are valid for all versions of the software, both for Windows and for macOS.
How to record voice on FL Studio
Many musical genres require that there is also a voice above the base. For example, in rap it is the MC who has to express his creativity, thus giving life to the complete song.

To proceed, start the program e premi sull 'red dot icon present at the top left. At this point, click on the button Audio, into the Edison audio editor / recorder, first prize OK and, in case you have connected the microphone, everything should be ready.
Try talking to see if the bar M (Master channel) on the left, which indicates the incoming volume, it "moves" correctly.
If this does not happen, try pressing on the item OPTIONS (present at the top) and click on the option audio Settings. Here you will find all the appropriate settings concerning theinput and l 'output. Therefore, select yours microphone and returns to the registration screen.
Once everything is configured correctly, “Disconnects” the Master channel (the one with the microphone icon, bring it to zero or press the dot to remove it), go to any one Insertion (eg Insert 1) and select from the right the input device through the audio card to which it is connected (via the drop-down menu next to the POST icon). After that, click the button SONG present in high to sinistra.
Once this is done, press oncue ball icon (present at the top left of Edison's window) e records what you want. When you are done, press again on thecue ball icon and click onsave icon. Then select the option Save sample as, type il registration name, choose the file format (es. wav or MP3) e save it where do you want.
register again your voice, you just need to go to the box Track 1, press onregistration icon and click on the button Play. Now that everything is set up, you will see that the track will appear on the screen in real time.
If you want reopen registration after closing and reopening the program, just click on the item Track 1 present on the right e drag the file here that you saved earlier. If you want to assign it to a particular track, do it Double-click on 'audio you imported and change the track number using the box at the top right.
Perfect, now you have learned how to record vocals on FL Studio. You just have to "Spread it" on the musical base. Obviously, what I have explained to you is only one basic method to acquire the voice. In fact, FL Studio is a very complex program and you may encounter numerous problems during your first recordings.
Don't worry: everything is normal. The important is study the program properly and don't give up. By the way: one of the biggest drawbacks that novice artists encounter is that of background noise from the microphone. Well, Edison, that is the tool you used earlier to record the voice, has a handy tool to "solve" this problem.
Once recorded the voice, try to select the whole track and press on the icon Denoiser. At this point, click the button Acquire noise profile. Perfect, now you can use this tool to try to reduce background noise.
Clearly, there are a myriad of variables that could affect the quality of your recording. It is therefore up to you to understand how to configure everything.
How to record audio on FL Studio

Just follow the same procedure that I explained to you in the previous chapter on the item, selecting the audio card to which the instrument is connected and pressing on record button. Once FL Studio is started, the screen that appears before the user is essentially composed of three parts: on the left is the "File Explorer", from which you can access all elements of the project (for example, plugins); in the center there are i pattern of the instruments, while on the right is the editing console, where there are the tracks on which to “drag” the various samples.
Through the central part of the program you can choose samples and define the rhythm of the various patterns. To listen to the latter, just click on the box PAT at the top left and click on the button Play. From here on you will have countless possibilities to explore.
