Word Online
If you want to make a poster with Word Online, the web application of the famous video writing software that can be used for free on the main browsers, know that you can do it without problems, as long as you have already created a Microsoft account (if not, you can fix it by following the instructions I have provided in the guide that I linked to you just now).
Word Online, as you may already know, “leans” on OneDrive, the cloud storage service of the Redmond giant and, therefore, if you intend to modify a document that already exists within it, you must first upload it to OneDrive and then modify it with the Word web application. To do this, you need to connect to the OneDrive home page, press the button Go to my OneDrive (if necessary), log into your Microsoft account and drag the file you want to edit online into the browser window.
Once the file upload is complete, click on the document that you uploaded to OneDrive just now, so that it automatically opens in Word Online. As for the actions to be performed to create the poster, all you have to do is follow more or less the steps I gave you in the previous chapter, as the Web version of Word does not differ much from its desktop counterpart, even if it is a bit 'poorer' in functions, as it does not allow you to change the color of the pages and make other more 'important' changes to documents.
As for the creation of a new document, however, all you have to do is connect to the start page of Word Online and double-click on the box New blank document. The rest of the operations to be performed are in common with Word for Windows and macOS.
