How to create a personal online bulletin board
Padlet
A Web service that you can use to create an online bulletin board where you can make notes and information to share with other people is the Padlet website.
I have chosen to tell you about it in this tutorial of mine since it is an excellent service dedicated to productivity that will allow you to create a virtual bulletin board in which to add different contents, thus allowing you to range between multimedia and textual contents.
This Web tool is also available in your language and is perfect to be used as an online platform to collaborate on different types of projects: it can therefore be used at school or even at work level or simply it is also possible to make a personal use of it.
To use Padlet you must first connect to its official website and press the button Subscribe so that you can create an account with your Google profile or with your Facebook account by pressing the buttons respectively Sign up with Google o Registrati with Facebook.
Alternatively you can also indicate an email address and password and press the button Subscribe to complete the process of creating your account.
Once you have completed the process of creating your account you can start creating an online board by pressing the button (+) Create a Padlet. At this point you will be prompted to choose if you want to use a basic default template for your virtual board or if you want to add a template from those shown.
However, these are issues that are relevant only from an aesthetic point of view that can be changed and modified at any time.
Once you have created your virtual board and customized it from an aesthetic point of view by following the guided tutorial that will be shown on the screen, you can start filling it with notes by pressing the button capacitor positive (+) lead which is located in the lower right corner.
Keep in mind that, within your virtual dashboard, you can easily add multimedia elements or documents by uploading them from your computer (button with the up arrow symbol) or you can also insert links (button with paper clip symbol) and search for content from the web (button with magnifying glass symbol).
All upload tools are visible by clicking the button with the three dots symbol; You can then use this service to write down different types of content as well as present voice notes.
You can use Padlet to share the board you have created with other users; to do this, just press the button sharing which is located in the upper right corner and then choose the sharing methodologies through the sections People and privacy and also Share / Export / Paste.
The Web Padlet service is free with some additional features available only upon payment of the optional subscription to the version For. If you wish, you can also use Padlet's tools from your Android or iOS mobile device by downloading its application.
Evernote
Among the most popular web services that will allow you to create an online bulletin board is the Evernote website, a historic platform that will help you organize your work and remember your commitments as well as facilitate the task of taking notes.
Similar to the functioning of the Padlet website, to use Evernote you will need to connect to its home page and create an account completely free.
To do this you can press the button Register with Google or indicate in the text fields e-mail e Password the required registration data and then press the button Register.
At the end of the registration procedure you will be asked if you want to subscribe to the service Evernote Plus or to the service Evernote Premium: these are two options related to the subscription version of Evernote that will allow you to use this platform in an unlimited way with all its available features.
Alternatively, if you don't want to pay to use Evernote, you can press the button For free in correspondence with the wording Basic Evernote and then press the button OK to confirm your willingness to use Evernote without paying.
The user interface of this service is simple and straightforward since it is a great platform that will help you organize your work through annotations.
All the tools related to the creation of new notes are visible in the left sidebar and among these I point out the button symbol (+) which will allow you to create a new note in which to type textual content and also possibly add multimedia elements: all the tools to do this are visible in the top bar of the note you just created.
For the notes you have created, you can also activate a reminder feature (alarm clock symbol) through which you can be notified at a time and day set by you.
Once you have customized Evernote by creating notes, you can share your created reminders with other users.
To do this, just press the button Share which you will see located in the corner in the upper right corner. Then you can send the memo created by typing an email address or find a specific recipient by searching your Google contacts.
You can also use the app to use Evernote free for Android and iOS mobile devices or even download the desktop application for Windows and Mac computers.
Google Keep
Among the platforms for creating online bulletin boards there is also the popular Internet site Google Keep which, developed by Google, will allow you to write down text or multimedia reminders in a simple and immediate way.
To use Google Keep, you usually need to have a Google account and, once you have connected to its official website, you will need to log in with it to start using this platform to write notes and share notes.
All you have to do to create new notes through the Google Keep platform is to write the text of your notes in the text field Write a note.
You can also use the button with the bulleted list symbol to take advantage of additional functions or press the button with the multimedia gallery symbol to upload a media type item from your computer.
This service comes with basic features and is perfect for those who need to take notes in a short time; you can also click the button with the symbol of a pen to draw and take notes by making diagrams and drawings.
In case you want to share the note you made with another person, just press the button with the symbol of a little man which you will see appear when you move the mouse cursor to the note you created.
You will then be able to type in the email address of a person to invite them to view the note made. The Google Keep platform also offers the reminder functionality through which you can set up a personalized alert.
It is also very interesting to underline the possibility of using Google Keep in the form of a Google Chrome browser extension as well as an application for Android and iOS devices.
Other services to create a personal online bulletin board

- dropbox Paper (Web / Android / iOS) - Dropbox Paper is a service that, developed by the team of the well-known cloud storage platform Dropbox, will allow you to write documents and annotations aimed at collaborating and sharing them with other users.
