How to create a group on Skype from Android
If you wish create a group on Skype from Android, all you have to do is access your account from the official app of the service, press the button that allows you to start the creation of a new group conversation and decide who to include it.
To proceed, therefore, start the official Skype app on your device, log in to your account, tap on the tab Chat (the symbol of comic which is located in the lower left corner of the screen), press the icon of pencil, located at the bottom right and, on the screen New chat that has opened, select the item New group chat.
Now, type the group name, fai tap sull'icona della camera, to select the photo to use as the group image, and press the icon of freccia rivolta verse destra located in the lower right corner of the screen to continue.
At this point, select i contacts to include in the group chat (eventually you can also search for users who are not in your contact list via the search bar at the top) and, when you are ready to do so, finish creating the group by pressing the button Done (in alto to destra).
Once the group chat has been created, you can send a message to all participants via the text field write a message located at the bottom of the screen, and call them / video call them, by pressing on the icons of the handset and video camera placed at the top right.
How to create a group on Skype from iPhone
If you are going to create a group on Skype from iPhone, you have to follow practically the same procedure that I indicated in the previous chapter dedicated to Android.
To proceed, then, start the official Skype app on your "iPhone by", log in to your account, tap on the tab Chat (l'icona del comic located at the bottom left of the screen) and press the icon of pencil at the top right.
In the screen that opened, press the button New group chat, write the group name, premi sull'icona della camera, to choose the photo to use as the group image, and tap on the symbol of freccia rivolta verse destra located in the lower right corner of the screen, to go to the next step.
Now, choose which ones contacts include in the group conversation (if you want to search for users who are not in your contact list, you can do this via the search bar located at the top of the screen) and finish creating the group by tapping the button Done (in alto to destra).
After completing the group creation procedure, you can send a message to all participants, using the text field write a message located at the bottom of the screen, and make calls and video calls to the users of the group by pressing on the icons of the handset and video camera located at the top right.
In case you want to create a group on Skype from iPad, you can follow a procedure somewhat similar to the one I just showed you for iPhone, using the service app also available for iPadOS.
How to create a group on Skype from a computer
If you want to know how to create a group on Skype for video calling acting from computer, as you usually use the desktop client of the service, all you have to do is open it, start the creation of a new group using the appropriate button and select the contacts to be included in it.
First, then, access Skype from its official client (if you have not downloaded it and you do not know how to do it, you will find explained how to proceed in this other guide) and click on the tab Chat (l'icona del comic which is located in the upper left corner of the window).
Adesso, click on the button New Chat ⌵ located in the left sidebar. In the menu that opens, select the item New Group Chat and write the name you want to assign to the group in the text field Name of the group. Next, click on the icon of camera and, optionally, select the photo to use as the group image. Then click on the button depicting the freccia rivolta verse destra.
Now you just have to start selecting the contacts you want to add to the group: then click on the name of each of them (if you want to add a user who is not in your contacts to the group, you can find him via the search bar located at the top) and, when you have finished choosing them, click on the blue button Done located in the upper right corner of the window Add to group.
The game is done! Now you just have to start chatting with those who are part of the group, through the field write a message, and make group calls and video calls by clicking on the icons of the handset and video camera which are located at the top right. Simple, right?
