Emoticon maker is one of the first solutions that I recommend you to try, especially if you are planning to create emoticons with photos on your Windows PC. This software is completely free and allows you to create emoticons with your photos in just a few clicks. To download it, connect to its official website and click on the button Download located in the center of the page.
A download completo, apri il file .exe just downloaded, click the button Yes and then follow the guided procedure to complete the software installation procedure: then click on the button I Agree, Then install e Finish.
As soon as the program starts automatically, check the item Animated or Big Emoticon to create an animated emoticon or check the item Static Emoticon (small) to make a static and small emoticon.
Clicca, quindi, sul pulsating Open, select the photo you want to use to create the emoji, then crop the photo so that the portrait subject's face stands out and, if necessary, click the buttons Rotate Left o Rotate Right to rotate it. To finish, click on the button Save to save the emoticon you want to share with your friends.
Emotiyou (online)
Don't have any intention of downloading software to your PC? No problem. You can resort to Emotiyou, a free online service thanks to which it is possible to generate animated emojis starting from any photograph. It can be used on all major browsers and does not require the installation of additional plugins.
To create emojis with Emotiyou, connect to its home page and click on the button Create emoticons located on the left of the page. Then drag the photo you want to transform into emoji in the area where the wording is present Drop photos here (or, alternatively, upload it by clicking on the blue button select a photo from your computer), crop it keeping only the face of the subject you want to turn into emoji and, if you are satisfied with the result, click on the blue button next step.
At this point, select one of the animations among those proposed (if you want you can also choose none), click again on the button next step and, on the page that opens, click on the button Download to download the animated emoji. Alternatively, click the button Email to send the emoji to your contacts via email.
Emoji Camera (Android)
Do you want to create emojis with your photos using your smartphone or tablet directly? Well then you can't help but try Emoji Camera, a free app for Android that allows you to create custom emojis using photos taken with your device's camera.
As soon as you have finished downloading Emoji Camera, start the app and tap the button Camera to take a picture and use it to create new emojis. Pressing on the button Add EmojiInstead, you can simply add stickers to the photos saved in the device's Gallery. After taking the photo of the subject you want to turn into emoji, reposition (if necessary) the stickers of the eyes, eyebrows and mouth so that they adhere perfectly to the face and then press the button Create Emoji.
In the screen that opens, tap on arrow located on the right to browse the emojis that were made with the photo you took just now and press the button Share to share them with your friends, or on the button Save to proceed to their rescue.
To send custom emojis, go to the main screen of Emoji Camera, fai tap sul pulsating View Emoji, select the emoji you want to share with your friends and press the button Share (l'icona dei three dots connected located at the bottom right) to select the messaging app with which to share the emoji image (eg. WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.). Easier than that ?!
Emoji My Face (iOS)
Emoji My Face is another application that can come in handy for making funny emojis with your photos. This is a solution available only for iOS devices, you can download it for free, but to unlock all the emojis it includes you have to buy its full version at a cost of 5,49 euros.
After downloading Emoji My Face on your iPhone or iPad, start the app and tap on the symbol of camera located at the bottom to take a picture and turn it into an emoji, or press the symbol of postcard to load a photo from the camera roll. Then he adapts the photo by placing it inside the circular area located in the center of the screen and presses on button yellow in which one is depicted smiley face.
In the screen that opens, customize the emoji by selecting one of the many colors available and one of the free facial expressions (those marked with a padlock are paid). As soon as you are satisfied with the result, press the symbol (✓) located at the bottom right and, on the next screen, enter the custom emoji in one of the available categories (eg. Funny, Happy, etc.). Finally, tap on the category name in which the emoji you created is present and share it with your friends in the form of an image file.
Emoji Me (iOS)
Are you looking for an app to create emojis to send on iMessage, the messaging platform developed by Apple? In that case I suggest you try Emoji Me, another semi-free application thanks to which it is possible to create personalized emojis compatible with iMessage. Being a semi-free solution, you can download the app for free and possibly unlock all the emojis integrated within it by purchasing its full version, which costs € 4,49.
After downloading Emoji Me on your device, start the app and tap one of the buttons on its home screen: New Photo, to take a new photo to use to create new emojis or MyPhotos, to use a photo saved in the camera roll. After uploading the photo to be used for the creation of the emoji, draw a circle around the face of the portrait subject (trying to be as precise as possible) and, as soon as you have completed the operation, press the symbol (✓) located at the bottom right.
At this point, use the tools in the Emoji Me editor to customize the subject of the photo you want to turn into emoji: tap on the symbol of the rubber to erase some portions of the image or to “soften” the face you have cut out just now; presses on the symbol of square with arrow to rotate and zoom in / out the emoji; tap on the symbol ofshutter to apply filters; tap on the symbol of cornice to add a frame to the emoji (available only in the full version of the app) or press the symbol of smiley face to apply stickers (only available in the full version of the app).
As soon as you have finished customizing the emoji, tap on the symbol (✓) and, in the next screen, presses on the item Select. Then select the emoji you want to share with your friends, tap the button Copy, open any instant messaging service (eg. WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.), tap the typing bar of the message, presses on the voice Paste and proceed to send the emoji.
If, on the other hand, you want to send the emoji via iMessage, launch the app Messages of iOS, compose a new message by pressing on the symbol of pencil, tap on theiMessage App Store (The icon with the A located at the bottom left), presses the icon of Emoji Me, tap on the custom emoji you created just now and send it to the selected contact by pressing the white arrow on green background.
